Custom wall murals, logo walls and floor graphics — printed on site, based in Charlotte
Surface Ink prints your artwork straight onto the wall or the floor. Not vinyl laid over the top — so there are no seams, no lifting edges and nothing that reads as a sticker up close. The printer is mobile, so we set up wherever the wall is — Charlotte, Monroe, Huntersville, Concord, Gastonia, Fort Mill, and further out for the right project.

WALL PRINTING VS. VINYL
Why direct wall printing feels more built into the space.
Vinyl has its place, but direct wall printing often creates a cleaner, more premium result for branded interiors, murals, and feature walls.
Wall Printing
- Printed directly to the wall for a more integrated look
- No raised edges, seams, or decal-style appearance
- Works especially well for premium interiors and custom murals
- Feels more architectural and less like applied signage
- Strong option for offices, schools, retail, restaurants, and branded spaces
Vinyl Graphics
- Applied on top of the wall as a separate material
- Can show edges, seams, lifting, or a decal-like finish
- Often feels more like signage than part of the room
- Installation quality can vary more from surface to surface
- Better suited for certain temporary or removable applications
The difference is in the finish.
Direct wall printing is often the better choice when the goal is a cleaner, more permanent, and more premium visual result.
Floor Printing
Use the floor to guide, brand, and define the space.
Surface Ink also provides floor printing for directional graphics, event branding, promotional graphics, branded pathways, and high-visibility environments.

Floor Graphics
Functional, branded, and impossible to ignore
Ideal for retail environments, activation spaces, events, school wayfinding, gyms, showrooms, and custom branded pathways that help shape how people move through the room.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions we get before a project starts
A few of the most common questions about wall printing, floor printing, artwork, surfaces, scheduling, and what to expect.
No. You can come with finished artwork, a logo, a rough concept, or just an idea. Surface Ink can help guide the direction so the final graphic fits the space and the project goals.
Surface Ink provides direct-to-surface printing for a range of wall and floor applications. The best fit depends on the material, finish, condition, and project environment, so we usually review photos and project details before confirming the approach.
The printing process produces very little to no noticeable odor. Any light scent that may be present during printing dissipates quickly and does not linger in the space. The inks are designed for interior environments, making them suitable for offices, schools, retail spaces, and residential areas.
Simple logos and graphics run $20–$25 per square foot, standard murals and multi-color designs $25–$30, and photographic or complex artwork $30–$35. The project minimum is $500, and travel across the Charlotte metro is included. Send a few photos and rough dimensions for an exact quote.
The fastest way is to send a few photos, rough dimensions, the project location, and a short description of what you want printed. If you already have artwork, include that too.
Timing depends on the size of the project, the surface conditions, artwork readiness, and scheduling. Smaller projects can move quickly, while larger branded environments usually need more coordination.
